Just acquired 300 lbs of PURE lead.

A guy my buddy knows has 300 lbs of pure lead strips (65lbs each) he is giving away. Now all I need is some antimony to add to the mix. Very excited.

Since you got it for free, you can afford to buy some lino or superhard to mix with it. Good score, I am always trying but mine freebees are usually in the 30-40# range.

Coincidentally, a friend just gave me about 360 pounds of lead last week. I don't know what the alloy is, but it scratches with a thumbnail, so I guess it's pretty pretty free of antimony and tin. It's in 60 pound ingots, so I'm going to have to get a large pot to melt and alloy it in.
