Some states considering taxes and gun and ammo purchases. Some states are considering taxes as high as 50 % on ammo purchases and taxing permits and having higher taxes on gun purchases.

The feds are even considering a 10% handgun tax claiming it will be used for gun safety and violence prevention.

OF course most gun owners look at it as back door gun control.
