Savage plastic magazines

I bought a Savage model 25 light weight varmiter and it has a plastic magazine. The problem is the plastic mag. When loaded with three or four shells the sides of the mag bulges and the shells turn upward and cause a jam when working the bolt. I called Savage arms and they sent me a new plastic mag and it does the same. Metal mags are not made. I now have a very nice rile that won't feed.

Anyone else have this problem or a fix for it.
