Need comparison from people who have purchased a sig M11-A1 and a Five-Seven.

The FN 57 is a huge gun, and in my opinion not really an option for CCW. Add to that what Stretch has already said, and I'd not carry it.
The Sig M11 blah blah bla is a Sig 228.
The 228 has served as a duty weapon for many agencies for many years. I bought mine in 1991. It allows you to carry 13 rounds of 9mm in the mag, one chambered. It is a fine, accurate and ultra dependable sidearm.
BUT....

It's a big gun, and heavy.

What, of the choices that you list, are you going to do with the gun?
CCW?
Range?
Duty Weapon?

Personally, the clothing I'm wearing determines the gun I choose....cause over 40 years I'm accumulated a few.
Summer clothing gets a Smith M&P compact in 9mm
Spring and fall usually get a Glock 19 or 23.
Winters bulk allows me to tote my Big N frame

If you have the $$$ to afford those two somewhat pricy guns, why not consider some others, that will allow the carry of said gun, at all times.

The Smith M&P, Glock [any] and a 1911 commander are the first that come to mind for me.

Also, is you do wish to spend a few more dollars, don't rule out the Walther P99 series.

Good luck with the FN or Sig, if you choose those.
