Hey all. I finally got around to pan lubing my first batch of cast boolits and figured I'd go with White Label 50/50 since it seemed to have great reviews on here. It was probably my noobness at lubing, but both of my sessions didn't turn out as planned. I found the lube to be too soft and tacky for my taste. Is there a lube that is a bit harder (more like a commercial hard cast pre-lubed boolit) and less tacky that I can either buy or make at home?

well soft and tacky and pan lubing go together, hard parrafinic waxes just don't do well in that role.
you could add some candle type plastic wax to your mix and try that.
I would add 10% to start.
it's all an educated guess,,,, till the trigger is pulled.the more i find out about shootin boolits, the more it contradicts everything i ever learned about shooting jaxketed.
Hmmm. So would a Lubrisizer be a better way to go?
