What top punch should I be looking for with the Lee .452 255 90358 mold for my 45 colt?
Thanks.
get ahold of the perfessor on here. he makes top punches for a lot less than you can buy from the store.
Better quality, better price, Keith is a very good person to deal with, and you'd be supporting another member on here who is a vendor sponsor.http://castboolits.gunloads.com/forumdisplay.php?131-ThePerfessor

I use the 374 punch, it isnt a perfect fit but it is close enough for me.

I agree. One of Keith's flat-faced top punches would be the way to go for a flat nose boolit like that.http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?112298-Conformal-No-Tools-Needed-Lyman-RCBS-Style-Nose-Punches
I must agree with the above, anytime you can use a vendor you should!
Flat nose ($8) and conformal ($8.50) nose punches for SAECO- or Lyman/RCBS-style luber/sizers.Saeco-to-Lyman/RCBS style nose punch adapters ($12)
Free S&H in USA on above items
Die retention nut drivers for Lyman and RCBS lubers. Start the nut straight every time! ($22+$5 S&H, shipping free w/purchase of two nose punches)
Email keiththeperfessor@gmail.com for more info.
A better product at a lower price, its the American way.
Personal checks, MOs, and PayPal accepted.
I have that very mold and use the Perfessor's flat top-punch for it with tremendous success. IF your lubrisizer is out of alignment at all (NOT uncommon), the flat punch sort of "free floats" and allows the ram and boolit to sort of "self-align" while sizing. I use the flat punch for several round nose designs as well. Makes a nice little "flat" on top of some of my round-nose boolits that is actually kinda neat and quite unique.good luck!

Cool. How do you guys like that mold? ( for those that have it.) It sure is cheap enough.
1/4" bolt with the flats ground to fit until the professors work arrives.
