Help IDing a mold.

Just picked this mold up at the local gun store for $5. Its obviously a custom mold from lbt but ive never seen the larger pointed bullet style before. Its .38 but I dunno what its for. Anybody know?

looks like an air rifle boolit.

it's all an educated guess,,,, till the trigger is pulled.

the more i find out about shootin boolits, the more it contradicts everything i ever learned about shooting jaxketed.

It would be easier to tell if we could see one of the bullets cast from that cavity. Just making a guess I would say the privious owner had single shot pistol or rifle in 357 and wanted a pointed bullet to shoot in it.
