All of the millions of ingredients tried are no better or worse.

The perfect lube exists, it just cannot be re-created by a mere mortal such as myself apparently. Luckily this mortal has a lube that works in his plinker loads, his standard loads, and even in his "borderline" loads. Not too bad for a feller that does not know a damn thing and makes ridiculous suggestions that somehow are a good idea when brought up by someone else.

I'm just waiting till Gear and Lamar go through all the various mixing and blending. The experimenting with every ingredient they can find. Shoot 200,000 rounds testing. Then I'll give them the formula for a cheap three readily avaiable ingredient lube that works with everything at every velocity in temps from minus 148 to 265 degrees above zero with no flies or lube purges....ever......lmao.

You are still going to have to tweak that formula as some of us will likely be attending the 1000yard match on the sun
and I think that there is an upcoming metallic sillwet shoot on Neptune this winter. I will not even bring up the Castboolit match sceduled for Uranus this summer.

I have done some strange things too. Had all kinds of test batches for BPCR that were so-so. I dumped it all together and melted it only to find it worked great. Yeah, the formula is out in the stars somewhere.

I may have to give the unicorn tears a try. I've recently abandoned pixie dust as a lube additive. It's incredibly rare to find a boolit that can think happy thoughts when it's bracing itself to be spanked at 20,000 PSI. The other problem is that, no matter what I aim at, the rounds keep veering off for the second star to the right. . .
