Hello,
Just curious.I'm picking up my G20 tomorrow.I plan to use it with cast 200 gr GC bullets with an aftermarket barrel for backpack hunting.
Question is if I get a 6-6.5 barrel the sight radius is still limited by the length of the slide .what advantage is a 6" barrel besides increase in velocity. or is that the whole point
thank you
it's all an educated guess,,,, till the trigger is pulled.the more i find out about shootin boolits, the more it contradicts everything i ever learned about shooting jaxketed.
A bit more muzzle velocity, but at pistol hunting ranges the marginal effect on your game is not likely to be significant.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.", old Chinese proverb.
So I'm thinking "tactical" length Lone Wolf which would be a compromise between the 6-6.5 and stock lengthYou may not post new threadsYou may not post repliesYou may not post attachmentsYou may not edit your postsForum Rules
