HK P2000SK .40 range report

This gun controls recoil very well for a small forty, much better than the Glock 27, though the baby Glock has less height making it fit in a pocket better. And of course the Glock is a whale of a lot cheaper.

Unlike the USP, the manual says no +P ammo; ergo the 40 is the better way to go in this model.

Function was flawless with Remington 165 fmj and Federal white box 180 fmj. The gun is very accurate and shoots more like a fullsize than a subcompact. How accurate? Accurate enough to use the numbers for targets. I love the heck out of it. Typically German outstanding fit and finish. Trigger both da and sa were accurate and controllable. Other than the aforementioned height my only complaint was hot brass in my collar and sandals. I was shooting at an indoor range, perhaps it was the confines. 9 round mags. Damn fine weapon all in all. I'm well pleased with my purchase.
