I see absolutely no benefit to this knowledge. But if you should give it a whack, let us know how it goes.

The Leidenfrost effect ... works for fire walkers across red hot coals too. Not something I find appealing.

I try my best to keep my fingers out of fans, electrical outlets and other devices no matter how survivable the encounter might be.

This was my thought as well. Definitely not something I will be doing but it is interesting.

Lead...still the best boolit material since 1400 AD.

I stupidly dripped solder into my left eye when I was 13. It went onto the white and part of the colored section. I closed my eye and the next blob sealed my eye shut.
What was young Pb2au doing you might ask? I was soldering some electrical connections under my dad's truck. Over head. With out safety glasses. Again, the paradigm of stupidity.
Life takes a new perspective when you feel and hear your eye sizzling.
Luckily, I survived with my sight intact, but with a lifelong super sensitivity to light in that eye. Bright sunlight kills me.
Moral of the story, don't screw around with safety. If something looks like a really stupid idea when you think about it, it most definitely is.
