joeatact,

I am currently using on the recomendation of my mold maker, a .460 push through - Lee style - die to soon after casting to size and seat the gas checks on my 465gr bullets, cast of 50/50 WW/lead.

These bullets are quenched as they fall from the mold.

Then sometime later, I run the sized bullets through my sizer/luber using a .461 sizer/luber die.

It was recommended that I allow the bullets to cure for a minimum of 7 days before shooting, and this has worked out quite well.

Sluging you gun is a good idea, but without it I'd go with .459 as a minimum and likely with the .460. Slug it and know for sure.
