LR Brass

Went to the range today to pick up some LR brass and found some nickel plated CCI brass that is 1/8" longer than normal LR brass. Anyone know what this is?

You may be right. Do you know if the cases are 1/8" longer?

They are from CCI Stingers. They use a lighter bullet and longer case for higher velocity.

If you really need .22 brass, I've got a whole 5 gallon bucket full of it that I'll probably take to the scrap yard the next trip over to the big city...........

+1 for the CCI Stinger. The only thing in nickle that I know of other than that is the CCI shot capsules for 22lr.

Hello Fred: Thanks for your offer. I have plenty but prefer certain headstamps, so I'm always on the lookout for the stuff I like.

To those who sent me PM's on the brass I apologize for not getting back to you, but 4 hours after posting here on May 1st, I was admitted to the hospital and yesterday they removed my gall bladder. I just got home, sore as all get out, and ordered not to lift anything over 5 pounds. I also have to fly back east on Monday to see my Dad in the hospital, who probably won't leave there...........

I'll answer all the PM's when I get back after May 14th. The doctor told me not to go, but this may be my last chance to see my Dad.........
