Good idea. You can apply the alox just where you want it.

I like to take my bullets and dip them. I hold the nose of the bullet with a pair of long nose pliers, dip the bullet into my alox or 45-45-10, up to the shoulder and set them on their bases to dry. Nose stays clean...
