More eBay INSANITY!

I surf eBay looking for molds now and then when I think about it. Looking for mostly oddball stuff, out of production 6-cav Lee molds, etc.

Anybody checked over there?

The price of 6-cavity Lee molds is running over $100!! with lots of bidders!
Ordinary 9mm 6-cav Lees hitting $150!! With lots of bidders!

Maybe I should sell off my 6-cavs and replace them next year!

Due to market fluctuations I am no longer buying range scrap jackets.

You are about four months late. This has been going on for awhile now.

I have seen some 2 cavity, .22 cal, steel moulds go for well over $200. They were being advertized as AR bullets. Some guys have talked about auctioning their molds and making enough money to pay for custom molds (who have not jacked their prices).

Now die sets are being offered for double the price, especially 9mm and 45 ACP. Same goes for Dillon conversion kits

have you noticed that every 225 mold is listed as being for the AR. Also that every Ideal mold is rare.

In todays market, everything you need, is rare. If it is over a year old, vintage pretty well describes it.
It's not false advertising, It's just the new normal. As long as folks feed into it with cash, it will never stop.
Just buy only what you absolutely have to have, and sooner or later things will balance out, to what the market will bear, with inventory on the shelves.
There's gonna be a lot of sick noobs, when they find out how much they overpaid. Likely some folks who are greedy, will be sick when the prices fall.
We've all been through this before. I started stocking up in 99, and haven't been short since.

I am a little late on stocking up, but I am working on it. I buy what I can when I find it for a price I want to pay. I think some stuff might be worth paying a little more for, but some stuff not so much, and I think that will probably vary from person to person.

I have actually been lucky enough to find poorly listed molds.225450,$38.99.was listed poorly and i picked it up easy.if u think like a newb,u can still find bad listings,just have to sift thru lots of ****.bullet cups,iron mould,copper jacket,and bullet parts are a few ive seen missed.oddly enough the **** ur listed with is similar to womens clothing categories...boring.
