Hacksaws and Glocks.

The other day, I found a shop that sells empty frames for G19s at a reasonable price.

I made a mental note as it is always good to know where one can find stuff at a later date. Not long afterward I spotted an ad for a used G26: I recalled shooting one once and noting how much easier it seemed to get back on target.

I would consider a G26, but the G19 has such a good rep, has the rail and I got it for such a good price that I wouldn't swap them.

Then I started thinking:
I could buy an G19 empty frame, cut the grip down to G26 dimensions giving me the sight radius of the 19, yet the concealability and seemingly better aiming qualities of the 26!

What could possibly go wrong?!

Truth is that if I buy a new frame for my gun, I can't just chop and change: I'd need to register it to that gun so this is not a practical option but I am interested to know if anyone has ever had a go at this or something similar.
