I am looking to get in to casting for my hand guns, 38 special & 45 acp. Any way I have been browsing the group buy section looking for hollow point molds and I came across a term that I am not familiar with, "Cramer style mold". Can someone explain this to me? And maybe post some picks showing the differences.
I am a complete noob to cast boolits.
Thanks for the help.

Gotta get me some!
Boy that sure makes me want to cast for my 45's.... Love those hollow point molds.

If you have never cast before, I would suggest a plain mold before you start with a HP.

If it was easy, anybody could do it.
This is the same boolit as the above link, just in a 4 cavity. .452 200 RNFP-HP

And a .432

The HP pins stay with the mold, sliding on two small rods. These are as easy AND fast as a solid mold to use. Those are MP molds made in Slovenia by Miha Prevec. Mine was a "group buy" here at cast boolits. He sometimes has extras from a group buy, check his website;

Yah, I am waiting on some Lee molds right know. I figure with the time that some of these group buys take to complete l should probably get in line soon.
