RCE/Corbin Point Form Punch Replacement

Hello,

I need to replace the wire insert in one of my RCE/Corbin Point Form External Punches. Richard told me he used heat Loctite to install them and all I need to do is heat up the punch and it'll come out. Can't get it to come out. Don't want to damage it. Anyone else ever replaced one of these? If so, how did you get it out and put the new one in?
