Looking for suggestions of a bullet puller for my 95gr lrn 380ACP rounds. I was thinking about the impact type but have never used one. I am hoping for replies which include puller manufacturer, model number, and if a special shell holder is needed.

As you may be able to tell from my posts, I am a newbie and trying to learn on my own. Exploring this site has been very educational and I see there is a lot to learn.

I would use a impact puller as I don't know if they make a collet
puller for the .380

A collet(press mounted) puller will be hard to use on 380 lrn not much surface area and they are not great on lead. Rcbs is a good choice for impact puller or collet for that matter.Shell holder needed only on press mounted and you should already have it.
You can use a collet puller on .380--I have with my Hornady puller--but for a .380 (especially if you're pulling jacketed bullets), a kinetic (impact) puller is the easiest and fastest. You're looking at a light 90/95gr bullet in a small case. Couple of good whacks with the kinetic puller and that bullet pops right out.

Yes impact/kenetic puller will work for .380 quite well

Thanks for the input. Just finished placing an order with Natchez. You folks are great!
With that puller, it will come with pretty much all the shellholders you need, and they work better, i feel that a press shellholder tears up the rims pretty bad after a few whacks.

I have a franklin bullet hammer and it works great. Beat the heck out of it and no problems.
