357 Sig Brass to 10 mm or 40 cal Shotshells?

Cast Boolits - Dedicated To The World Of Cast Bullets!

Not sure where to post this but if 357 Sig brass was blown out straight would it be the same length as 10 mm brass?
Could it be used for 40 shotshells?

even if you could blow it out straight 357 Sig uses a SP primer and the 10mm used a LP primers... not sure about 40 shotshells...
The .357 Sig is a fraction of a millimeter longer than .40 S&W brass; significantly shorter than 10 mm and not long enough to use for a crimped-mouth shotshell (like the ones folks make for .45 ACP from .308 or .30-06 cases). It looks as if you could form cases long enough for crimped shot loads from .30 Remington (or other rifle length cases that share that head, if any are still made), or you could turn the rims off and cut extraction grooves into .30-30 family cases.
