Cast Boolits - Dedicated To The World Of Cast Bullets!

There is nothing like going out and making your own bullets while everyone else is trying to find them. I cast some #358156 HP's last week. Today I loaded up some .357's, even using some old large primer brass and 14.5 grains of 2400. These would prove pretty useful on whitetails. I want to try and get out to shoot these as soon as some of this snow melts.

I have the same mold but without hollow point. My question is do you have to lube them. I always do with lee alox but it doesn't look like you did. I also gas check them like u did.

There is lube but I do clean them off at the top to get them nice and shiny. I also use Lee Alox, which seems to work well no matter what the velocity.

Many years ago, I used that load a lot in a 6" Smith.

I never shot a deer with it but it was devastating on varmints of all sizes.
