They sure do look purdy. At the risk of appearing to be stupid, what is that machine???
VERY Nice LAH!! The lube in the groove looks PERFECT!!
What lube do you use and what sizer lubricator to get that quality?
unless i miss my guess the boolit is sitting on top of an air cylinder, probably the one for the star sizer that applied the lube.

you are sizing down what? about .002 ish.
i seat that boolits shoulder flush with my cases mouth, and never have a problem with them in anything.

it's all an educated guess,,,, till the trigger is pulled.

the more i find out about shootin boolits, the more it contradicts everything i ever learned about shooting jaxketed.

Just a guess, but that boolit looks like NOE's very own version of the H&G 34. I have that mold,
but haven't cast with it yet !! Nice they (NOE) put the full diameter front band on there to avoid
luber issues - probably helps with accuracy also. Mike

OK, first thanks for looking at the thread.

Jim..47 the machine is the what runriverun said, the air lube feed for a Star.

Chilmonty the sizer & lube are that which cbrick said, a Star & LBT lube.

runfiverun I didn't measure the raw bullet before sizing. I meant to but I was using the bullet feed & before you know there were none left to measure.

captaint is correct, the mould is an NOE 454-230-RN.

And cbrick is correct in that the boolits were sized nose first.

Jim there is a learning curve to deal with when you purchase a Star but it is doable. At present you can get into a plain Jane model for 'bout 300.00. And remember it's all manual.

This one has the optional bullet feed.
