Living in ohio where it is shotgun only for deer. I have tried different combinations of wad slugs and sabots made for shotguns. There is just to many variables in combinations of a piece of plastic gripping rifling and being consistent every time. Maybe for a smoothbore its ok. But if you have a rifled slug gun it is hard to beat a piece of lead swaging into the rifling for accuracy. Slug your barrel and decide what diameter you need to use and order a mold. Then you don't have to worry about running out of wads or sabots. Cast bullets have stood the test of time out of rifles and pistols and they will in the new modern slug guns.
